In 2012 I had a show titled "Vignettes" at Tidewater Gallery in NC. All the works were 10x12 and focused on those sort of ordinary moments I love.
Recently a gentleman found an old magazine with info and images about the show and contacted the gallery to find out what was still available. After some digging, sharing of images, a new painting of a favored one (above) and an ultimate choice for a city scene, the deal was done.
It's wonderful that someone (a talented artist and teacher as well) liked my work enough to track it down like that. It's a great reminder to not give up hope that your work will speak to someone.
