In this six week class we will cover techniques to help you loosen up and create paintings with more expression and personal style. Using photos and still life, we will practice interpreting our subjects, not just copying. We'll begin with gestural drawing and move into design using strong shapes and values to create dramatic compositions. Finally, learn how to create beautiful color harmonies, texture and variety.
All levels are welcome and you can work in oils, acrylic or pastels.
This being my first class in a new space, I'm offering a special introductory price - $225. Space is limited also.
